Highfield Boats has wowed the media and guests at the highly anticipated launch of the innovative 7-metre ADV 7 crossover boat, designed for those seeking adventure on the water. The ADV 7 combines remarkable seaworthiness with exceptional comfort, setting a new benchmark in the industry.

The latest addition to Highfield’s range, the ADV 7 is the result of a successful collaboration with the renowned design and engineering studios VOM Creations and Alpha Studio from Ljubljana, with naval architecture handled by Andrej Justin. This partnership has fused cutting-edge design with engineering expertise, delivering a versatile RIB that excels in both performance and aesthetics.
Every aspect of the ADV 7 has been crafted with a focus on functionality, usability, comfort, and quality, all while preserving Highfield's distinctive rugged identity and renowned sea-keeping ability. Its deep-V hull, with a fine entry and 22-degree transom deadrise, ensures superior performance on the water.

Designed to comfortably seat up to eight people, the ADV 7 is perfect for both adventurous outings and leisurely family days. Among its many innovative features are two spacious sundecks, offering ample room for relaxation and sunbathing. The 2-metre internal beam provides plenty of space for family and friends, along with their gear, for longer trips. The aft area has been designed as a social hub, ideal for relaxing and dining at anchor, while the optional marine toilet ensures greater comfort for extended adventures.

Peter Pembroke from Highfield Australia described the ADV 7 as “a truly groundbreaking crossover product that brings something new to both the rigid inflatable and general runabout markets. It combines the best of both worlds, with the tubes acting as a fender, dispersing wash, and a focus on excellent hull design for a smooth, dry ride, complemented by a 270-litre fuel tank for extended range."

He added, “Using composite materials allows us to integrate a variety of user-friendly features, including aft and forward seating or sun pads, wrap-around cockpit seating with an optional table and dinette, and an optional toilet in the console. These features have been added based on feedback from current Highfield owners, who are deeply passionate about the brand.”

The robust T-top offers excellent sun protection, especially when paired with the stern shade, and the well-designed stern platforms ensure safe and easy water access. The stern arch is ideal for water sports enthusiasts, further adding to the boat's versatility. The inflatable tubes provide added security, act as fenders during docking, and contribute to overall safety.

Despite its 7-metre length, the ADV 7 gives the impression of a much larger vessel, thanks to its generous interior space and features. Yet, it remains incredibly easy to tow behind a family saloon or SUV.

Julien Carussi, co-founder and CEO of Highfield Boats, commented, “This is the perfect time for Highfield to unveil a bold new product. I’m thrilled with the first model in the ADV range and excited for what comes next. The ADV 7 launch marks an important step in Highfield’s ambitious growth trajectory.”

Set to be launched in Australia at the 2025 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, from 22 to 25 May on Queensland’s Gold Coast, the ADV 7 will be one of the major model releases.

“The ADV 7 is an ideal vessel for the Australian and New Zealand boating markets, perfect for family outings, longer-range cruising, and adventurous getaways,” said Pembroke.
