1974 Custom 23m Steel Passenger Charter Vessel

MUST BE SOLD - ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED 23.28m Reef Charter Vessel - MV Booby Bird has been conducting extended Fishing / Diving Charters and Government contracts throught out the Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea for many years. She was originally built in Adelaide to be used as a Southern Ocean Trawler. The vessel is for sale as boat only or as a going concern with GBRMPA Permit and client data base to start charters once the current virus situation is in hand. Booby Bird has accommodation for 22 guests and 2 crew. The vessel is air conditioned and carpeted throughout accommodation areas and tastefully furnished. There are 3 cabins with double berths to the port side of the galley and 6 x 2 berth cabins aft under deck.
She would make a great LIVE TROUT vessel as the 20m limit rule has been extended and she has a massive live tank in the aft section of the vessel. Would not take much to reinstate this for live product.

Main Saloon:
This area of the vessel is located just forward of midships. The dinettes for passengers are located to the Starboard and Port sides with seating for 24 persons. It has a stainless steel sink with hot and cold running water and a bar fridge is fitted under the servery to the galley. A Toshiba television is fitted on the port side of the saloon and a Sony DVD player and Yamaha stereo system is fitted to speakers throughout the vessel. A Palsonic upright freezer is located to the starboard side of the after exit to the back deck.

Galley:
Is located forward and to the starboard side of the saloon. A dry store is forward with ample storage cupboards space. A four-burner Moffat cook top and Bakbar oven and grill is fitted into the galley benches. The galley also contains a large 2-door stainless steel commercial refrigerator. A LG Microwave oven is located under the servery at the after end of the galley. The galley is clean and tidy and in good condition.

After Deck:
Is a large covered area where an island bar and general seating is located. Access to the engine room and after accommodation is via this area. An ice boy beer dispenser is located at one end of the bar and an upright fridge/freezer is located behind the bar. This area also services as the work area on-board with access to storage holds aft.

Engine Room:
A workshop is fitted on a raised forward section in the engine room. A 125-litre hot water service is fitted to the starboard side. The engine space is clean tidy and all machinery appears to be clean.
