Seller's Comment

One of the most highly revered manufactures in Australia, the Assegai brand is the golden unicorn in the game fishing circuit and this outstanding 12.4m example has the benefit of current 2B and 2D survey providing a business opportunity along with the sheer pleasure of being the custodian of an Assegai. Constructed by Barry Martin at the Assegai facility in 1998,"The Force" was returned to Barry in 2012 and underwent a complete refurbishment. This labour of love, carried out by the current owner, included new Caterpillar C9 diesels which are currently showing only 1824 hours, a new Mase 8.5Kva generator and all new electrical, plumbing, Teak decks, navigation equipment and all ancillary equipment along with faultless paintwork resulting in, effectively, a brand new vessel. Designed and constructed for competitive fishing, "The Force" has ample cockpit space with Teak laid gunnels, live bait tanks and a transom door for landing a trophy specimen. On entry to the saloon, a luxury interior greats you with the appeal of a modern family cruiser with all of the necessities for extended cruising including a two cabin layout with accommodation for up to eight family members, a large dinning area, airconditioning and a very functional galley with all modern conveniences and excellent refrigeration including three Eutectic fridge or freezer units. Below decks the engineering is impeccable with only the best possible fixtures and fittings, all laid out meticulously as expected from an Assegai. To be behind the wheel of this vessel at a cruising speed of up to 25 knots is pure pleasure with sure footed sea handling ability's and agility that you will never experience in any other brand. Open up the throttles and 31 knots will appear instantly, bringing a smile to all onboard in admiration of this beautiful vessels sheer awesomeness. Be the envy of all those around you with this magnificent craft moored at your jetty and benefit from its surveyed construction with a highly desirable game fishing charter boat. Genuine enquiry's will be treated with confidentiality from those who aspire to own an Assegai and current charter vessel operator's looking to add a competitive and manageable vessel to their fleet. To say you own an Assegai is free. To own one is an achievement. (Suit Viking, Norman Wright, Egg Harbor, Cabo, Buddy Davis buyers).
